Top marks for continuous improvement of the innovation process and broad anchoring in the company: Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure has been awarded the TOP 100 seal for the second time since 2021. The award honors medium-sized companies that sustainably and systematically promote their innovation potential.
The TOP 100 competition questions whether innovations are the result of a planned approach and how the solutions prevail on the market. The winners are chosen through a scientific selection process.
A team led by innovation researcher professor Dr Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business is based on more than 100 test criteria. This is the second time Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure has impressed the jury – the company received the first seal in 2021.
“We are delighted to once again receive the TOP 100 seal in 2025. This award confirms our consistent approach to constantly optimizing our innovation process – from the definition of clear innovation fields to interdisciplinary future vision workshops and life cycle management with regular adjustments to the portfolio,” says Christian Reichert, director of solutions at Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure.
“In addition, annual key figures and fitness checks ensure that we measure our innovation performance transparently and improve it continuously.”
In the category “organization of the innovation process”, Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure received top marks for its structured frontloading with defined innovation fields and systematic idea generation. The jury emphasized that interdisciplinary teams continuously develop existing products and quickly test prototype solutions.
Flat hierarchies, an open feedback culture and clear orientation and transparency across all innovation steps were convincing in the area of “working environment & promoting creativity”. These measures offer employees scope for creative solutions.
One example of the consistent promotion of innovative strength is the Innovation Lab. Here, experts from the areas of research and development, production, sales and related departments work together to analyze market trends and develop innovative applications. AI-supported tools aid market analyses, trend identification and initial idea screenings, freeing up employees for creative tasks.
On 27 June 2025, Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure, the competence center for level and pressure measurement technology as well as solutions for inventory management within the Endress+Hauser Group, was presented with the TOP 100 seal by science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar at the German SME Summit in Mainz. He serves as a mentor for the innovation competition.
